U-Pick at Windblume Farms

U-Pick days at Windblume are meant to feel easy, unhurried, and connected to the season. Wander the fields, harvest fresh vegetables, and enjoy a simple day on the farm.

**Our vegetable U-Pick and dahlia fields are separate. While dahlias are reserved for bulk orders and special events, guests are welcome to wander the rows and take it all in. Please enjoy the blooms with your eyes and camera, and leave the picking to us.**

Because our fields and availability change with the weather and harvest, all U-Pick visits are scheduled in advance.

Admission

All guests must have an admission ticket to enter the U-Pick fields.

Admission helps us care for the farm, maintain the fields, and create a welcoming experience for everyone. Admission tickets are purchased in advance through our ticketing system. We will provide a direct link once we're closer to opening.

Gift cards may be used toward admission and U-Pick purchases.

Admission is $5 per person

How to Purchase an Admission Ticket

Picks will be announced only a few days in advance. A few days prior to releasing tickets, we will asses our crops to determine what day will be best for our pickers. We are at the mercy of mother nature and want every picker to have the same picking experience. The more ripened crops=the best experience for you.

Picks will be divided into one-hour time slots so you can choose when you would like to arrive, and you must check out 30 minutes after the last time slot closes. Our hope is to pick 3-4 times per week. With 2026 being our first season, this is subject to change.

We will be operating on a reservation based system and will be limiting the amount of pickers per hour. Why? Because one person might pick 5 individual tomatoes and the next person might pick 5 pounds. This will allow us the opportunity to monitor our fields as the day progresses and prevent pickers showing up to empty rows of veggies.

We will announce pick days on our Facebook page and right here on our website with a link to purchase your pick tickets. YOU MUST PURCHASE THROUGH THE PROVIDED BOOKING LINK.

What's Included in Admission

Your admission includes:

  • Access to pick in our vegetable field during your scheduled time
  • Access to browse our dahlia field during your scheduled time
  • Use of farm tools and harvest containers
  • Guidance on how to harvest properly
  • Time to wander, pick, and enjoy the farm

Vegetables are priced by weight

What to Bring

We recommend bringing:

  • Comfortable shoes (closed-toe preferred)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Sun protection and water

Please leave pets, outside tools, and large bags at home.

Farm Rules & Guidelines

To protect our fields and ensure a good experience for everyone:

  • Please stay within designated U-Pick areas
  • Only harvest what you plan to purchase. If you pick it, you buy it.
  • Follow staff instructions at all times
  • Children must remain with their adults
  • Be mindful of other guests and growing plants

Weather & Field Conditions

U-Pick is a rain-or-shine experience unless conditions become unsafe.

Fields may be muddy, uneven, or wet. In the event of severe weather or field closure, ticket holders will be notified by text and/or email.

Kids, Pets, & Accessibility

Children are welcome and must be supervised at all times.

For the safety of our guests, staff, and crops, PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED in the U-Pick fields.

Our farm is a working agricultural space with uneven ground. While we do our best to accomodate guests, some areas may be difficult to navigate.
